本周英语角，我们一同走进“服章千载，华裳万象”的世界。衣冠承载文脉，服饰诉说千年，从古朴庄重的秦汉曲裾、飘逸灵动的魏晋杂裾，到华美大气的唐制齐胸衫裙、素雅温婉的宋制褙子，再到端庄沉稳的明制袄裙，每一款传统服饰都藏着独属于东方的审美与浪漫。精致的云纹、缠枝、瑞兽纹样，巧妙的交领、右衽、系带形制，不止是好看的衣裳，更是古人生活礼仪、思想文化的具象表达。在这里，你可以认识不同形制的中式传统服饰，了解它们的演变历史，探讨传统服饰在当下的创新与流行，和伙伴们一起交流、畅聊，用英语分享你眼中国风服饰独有的魅力，感受跨越时光的东方风雅。
Traditional Chinese garments are far more than beautiful clothes — they are living carriers of thousands of years of Chinese culture. From the solemn quju of the Qin and Han dynasties, the flowing robes of the Wei and Jin periods, the gorgeous Tang-style qixiong dresses, the simple and elegant Song-style beizi, to the dignified Ming-style aoqun, each style reflects the unique aesthetics of its era. Delicate patterns like cloud motifs, interlocking flowers and auspicious beasts, together with classic designs such as cross-collar, right lapel and ribbon ties, record ancient people’s rituals, lifestyles and philosophies. At this activity, you will get to know different types of traditional Chinese clothing, learn about their history and evolution, and discuss how these classic styles are reimagined and embraced in modern fashion. Come and join us, talk freely with peers, and share the timeless beauty of Chinese traditional attire in English!

口语英语角专为中外学生共同交流设计，在轻松氛围里自信开口、互相学习，用双语讲出中国故事，让文化成为最好的沟通桥梁。鼓励大胆开口，练习英语口语的同时，纠正发音与语法，说出更地道的英语或中文，主题清晰、表达简单、中外互助对话，双向提升语言能力，拓展国际视野。
如果你想深入了解中国传统文化背后的故事，或者你正在准备英语口语考试，愿意用英语开口聊聊，也许只是有点好奇、有点害羞，但想试着迈出一小步，那么这个英语角，就是为你准备的。我们不追求完美表达，只鼓励勇敢开口，每一次分享，都是更好的开始。
This English corner is built for Chinese and international students. In a relaxed vibe, you'll speak with confidence, learn from one another, and share Chinese stories, turning culture into a bridge for communication. We encourage you to speak up, practice your spoken English, improve your pronunciation and grammar, and also help international students to get to know more about Chinese. With clear topics, simple expressions, and peer support across cultures, you'll grow your language skills in both directions, and broaden your global perspective as well.
If you want to go deeper into the stories behind traditional Chinese culture, are willing to talk in English about the flavors of your hometown or the tastes of your childhood, or are simply a little curious, a little shy, but ready to take one small step forward, then this English corner is for you. We don't chase perfect pronunciation. We just encourage brave voices. Every time you share, it's a fresh start toward something better.
