当庙会的锣鼓响彻街巷，属于华夏大地的民俗盛宴便缓缓启幕。翻腾的巨龙伴着龙珠盘旋游走，醒狮腾跃辗转，传递纳福迎祥的祈愿；高跷表演者身着彩衣缓步穿行，旱船在人群之中摇曳起伏，秧歌的彩绸随风漫卷，麒麟踏着节奏翩然起舞，还有带着古老面具的傩舞，在庄重的仪式感里诉说先民的信仰。这一系列丰富多姿的传统民俗表演，起源于乡土，生长于民间，并非局限于殿堂之上的高雅艺术，而是千百年来普通百姓在岁时节庆里创造出来的精神欢歌。古人将对风调雨顺、五谷丰登、阖家平安的期盼，全部揉进每一次迈步、每一回腾跃、每一声鼓点之中。一代又一代人口传身授，让这些表演跨越朝代更迭，躲过岁月侵蚀，保留着鲜活质朴的生命力。它不只是节日用来助兴的热闹节目，更是一条看得见、能触摸的文化纽带，串联起过去与当下，把深藏在民族血脉里的热忱、敬畏与对美好生活的憧憬，借着一场场街头演绎，代代传递下去。本周英语角，就让我们一同走进传统民俗表演的世界。欢迎每一位朋友前来参与，一起交流探讨，分享你见过的民俗演出，畅谈你对这些古老民间艺术的理解。在这里不必拘束，大胆开口，在轻松的英文交流中，共赏民俗之美。期待大家的到来！
When the sound of gongs and drums from temple fairs echoes through streets and alleys, the grand feast of Chinese folk customs unfolds slowly. Twisting giant dragons circle and wander following pearl props, while lively lions leap and bound to deliver blessings for good fortune. Stilt walkers in colorful costumes stroll among crowds, land boats sway gently, silk ribbons of yangko dance flutter in the wind, kylins dance to the rhythm, and the ancient Nuo dance with masks tells the beliefs of our ancestors in a solemn atmosphere. These diverse traditional folk performances originate from villages and grassroots communities. Instead of refined arts confined to grand halls, they are spiritual anthems created by ordinary people during festivals for thousands of years. Our ancestors wove their hopes for favorable weather, bumper harvests and family safety into every step, leap and drumbeat. Passed down orally and demonstrated from one generation to another, these performances survive the changes of dynasties and the test of time, retaining their simple yet vibrant vitality. They are far more than entertaining shows for festivals. They serve as a tangible cultural link connecting the past and the present. Through these street performances, the passion, reverence and longing for a better life deep in our national blood are passed on endlessly. 口语英语角专为中外学生共同交流设计，在轻松氛围里自信开口、互相学习，用双语讲出中国故事，让文化成为最好的沟通桥梁。鼓励大胆开口，练习英语口语的同时，纠正发音与语法，说出更地道的英语或中文，主题清晰、表达简单、中外互助对话，双向提升语言能力，拓展国际视野。
如果你想深入了解中国传统文化背后的故事，或者你正在准备英语口语考试，愿意用英语开口聊聊，也许只是有点好奇、有点害羞，但想试着迈出一小步，那么这个英语角，就是为你准备的。我们不追求完美表达，只鼓励勇敢开口，每一次分享，都是更好的开始。
This English corner is built for Chinese and international students. In a relaxed vibe, you'll speak with confidence, learn from one another, and share Chinese stories, turning culture into a bridge for communication. We encourage you to speak up, practice your spoken English, improve your pronunciation and grammar, and also help international students to get to know more about Chinese. With clear topics, simple expressions, and peer support across cultures, you'll grow your language skills in both directions, and broaden your global perspective as well.
If you want to go deeper into the stories behind traditional Chinese culture, are willing to talk in English about the flavors of your hometown or the tastes of your childhood, or are simply a little curious, a little shy, but ready to take one small step forward, then this English corner is for you. We don't chase perfect pronunciation. We just encourage brave voices. Every time you share, it's a fresh start toward something better.
