仲夏时节，粽叶飘香，端午佳节即将如约而至。感受传统节日魅力，弘扬中华优秀传统文化，本次英语角特意以端午为主题开展趣味交流活动。在这里，我们一同探寻端午节日起源，追忆千古先贤屈原的爱国情怀，深入了解赛龙舟、品粽子、挂艾草、戴香囊等经典民俗风情。大家可以自由交流家乡独特的端午习俗，分享节日里的暖心趣事，抛开羞涩与拘谨，大胆运用英语自由对话。在轻松融洽的交流氛围里，既能扎实锻炼英语口语能力，提升日常交际表达水平，又能沉浸式感受浓浓的节日氛围，读懂传统节日背后的文化内涵。以英传情，以语会友，让我们携手相聚英语角，用国际语言诉说端午故事，传承民俗文化，共度一场充满诗意与活力的双语端午盛会。
In midsummer, the fragrance of bamboo leaves drifts everywhere, and the traditional Dragon Boat Festival is coming. To feel the charm of traditional festivals and carry forward excellent traditional Chinese culture, our English Corner holds interesting communication activities themed on the Dragon Boat Festival. Here, we will explore the origin of this festival, recall the patriotic spirit of the ancient sage Qu Yuan, and learn about classic folk customs such as dragon boat races, eating zongzi, hanging wormwood and wearing fragrant sachets. Everyone is welcome to talk freely about unique Duanwu traditions in your hometown and share warm, interesting stories of the festival. Feel free to communicate bravely in English without hesitation. In this relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, you can not only practice oral English and improve your communication skills, but also immerse yourself in strong festive vibes and understand the profound cultural meaning behind traditional festivals. Make friends through language and spread warmth with words. Let’s gather at the English Corner, tell wonderful Duanwu stories in English, inherit fine folk culture and enjoy a wonderful bilingual festival full of warmth and vitality.

每周，我们会举办两场传统文化口语角活动，一校区和二校区每周各一场，大家可以根据自己的时间，任选一场参加。具体时间如下：
We hold two traditional culture English corner activities every week, one for Campus One and one for Campus Two. You can choose any one to attend according to your own schedule. The specific time is as follows.

This English corner is built for Chinese and international students. In a relaxed vibe, you'll speak with confidence, learn from one another, and share Chinese stories, turning culture into a bridge for communication. We encourage you to speak up, practice your spoken English, improve your pronunciation and grammar, and also help international students to get to know more about Chinese. With clear topics, simple expressions, and peer support across cultures, you'll grow your language skills in both directions, and broaden your global perspective as well.
If you want to go deeper into the stories behind traditional Chinese culture, are willing to talk in English about the flavors of your hometown or the tastes of your childhood, or are simply a little curious, a little shy, but ready to take one small step forward, then this English corner is for you. We don't chase perfect pronunciation. We just encourage brave voices. Every time you share, it's a fresh start toward something better.
