本周主题：中华传统文化之中式美食漫谈
一道菜，不仅是一份味道，更是一段文化、一座桥梁。从饺子里的团圆，到火锅里的热闹；
从刀削面的技艺，到糖葫芦的童年——中式美食里藏着中国人最真实的生活与情感。这一次，我们不只用味蕾感受中国，更用英语讲述那些“舌尖上的中国故事”。无论你是厨艺小白还是隐藏的“美食家”，都欢迎来英语角，分享你最爱的一道中式美食，让世界听懂中国味道！
活动时间及地点：
每周，我们会举办两场传统文化英语角活动，一校区和二校区每周各一场，大家可以根据自己的时间，任选一场参加。具体时间如下：

本次英语角专为中外学生共同交流设计，在轻松氛围里自信开口、互相学习，用双语讲好中国故事，让文化成为最好的沟通桥梁。鼓励大胆开口，练习英语口语的同时，纠正发音与语法，说出更地道的英语或中文，双向提升语言能力，拓展国际视野。
如果你想深入了解中国传统文化背后的故事，愿意用英语开口聊聊家乡的味道、童年的记忆，或者只是有点儿好奇、有点儿害羞，但想试着迈出一小步，那么这个英语角就是为你准备的。我们不追求完美表达，只鼓励勇敢开口，每一次分享，都是更好的开始。

Notice on Entering for the English Corner with the Theme of Chinese Traditional Culture
Through the long river of Chinese civilization, millennia of splendor unfold. Within these treasured fragments of tradition lie the roots and soul of the Chinese nation.
This Traditional Culture Themed English Corner aims to encourage participants to speak English with confidence, tell China’s stories in English, and carry forward the brilliance of Chinese culture.
Theme of This Week: Casual Talks on Chinese Cuisine
A dish is more than just a flavor; it is a piece of culture and a bridge between hearts. From the reunion symbolized by jiaozi (Chinese dumplings) to the warmth of hot pot, from the craftsmanship of knife-shaved noodles to the childhood joy of sugar-coated haws, Chinese food carries the genuine life and emotions of the Chinese people. This time, we will not only taste China but also tell the stories on the tip of the tongue in English. Whether you are a cooking beginner or a hidden food lover, you are welcome to join us, share your favorite Chinese dish, and let the world understand the taste of China!
We hold two traditional culture English corner activities every week, one for Campus One and one for Campus Two. You can choose one to attend according to your own schedule. The specific time is as follows.

This English corner is built for Chinese and international students. In a relaxed setting, you'll speak with confidence, learn from one another, and share Chinese stories, turning culture into a bridge for communication. We encourage you to speak up, practice your spoken English, improve your pronunciation and grammar, and also help international students to get to know more about Chinese culture. With clear topics, simple expressions, and peer support across cultures, you'll grow your language skills in both directions, and broaden your global perspective as well.
If you want to go deeper into the stories behind traditional Chinese culture, are willing to talk in English about the flavors of your hometown or the tastes of your childhood, or are simply a little curious, a little shy, but ready to take one small step forward, then this English corner is for you. We don't chase perfect pronunciation. We just encourage brave voices. Every time you share, it's a fresh start toward something better.
Attend either the Wednesday or Friday event each week and you'll receive a small gift. All students are welcome to sign up!
