主讲人简介:

许靖博士现任爱思唯尔政府与高校事业部客户成功经理,曾于中科院国家纳米科学中心获得博士学位,并发表过多篇国际论文,其中第一作者9篇。加入爱思唯尔以来,负责大中华区机构客户的科研战略分析,曾为香港大学、香港理工大学、澳门科技大学、中国科学院、中国医学科学院、上海交通大学、湖南大学、中国华能集团清洁能源研究院等高校和科研机构开展多场科研方法讲座。

About the Speaker:

Dr. Jing (Helen) Xu, currently serving as Elsevier Customer Success Manager, earned her PhD from National Center for Nanoscience and Technology (NCNST), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and had published numerous international papers, including nine as the first author. Since joining Elsevier, she has been responsible for research strategy analysis for institutional clients in the Greater China region. She has delivered numerous lectures on research methodologies for various universities and research institutions, including the University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Macau University of Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Hunan University, and the China Huaneng Clean Energy Research Institute.

Subject Coverage: Scopuss data covers 27 broad subject areas and 334 specific disciplines, with particularly comprehensive coverage in the Humanities and Social Sciences, Computer Science, and Engineering, as well as the data collected from emerging regions, including the Asia-Pacific.

Contents: It indexes over 29,000 peer-reviewed journals from more than 7,000 publishers worldwide, over 426,000 books, and more than 13.2 million conference papers. The database includes publications in over 40 languages, featuring more than 1,400 core peer-reviewed Chinese journals (including those from the Excellence Action Plan for Chinas STM Journals).

Additionally, Scopus contains profiles for 940,000 institutions and over 21.9 million scholars. This allows researchers to quickly analyse the research output characteristics of individuals, peers, and institutions, and to identify potential collaborators.
